DoEcos is an early stage start-up based out of Copenhagen, Denmark that is looking to decrease the world’s carbon footprint by making house retrofitting and heat pumps more accessible through subscription payments.

My Role
I was brought on as a Front-End developer. My role consisted of collaboration with the UI/UX team to create a functional landing page.

Design Process
This project consisted of collaboration with the UI team to implement and create interface designs that stand out from direct European competitors. The website was then deployed and presented as an MVP to be used at a venture capital meeting for a six-figure funding opportunities.

We were working on designing & implementing their initial brand identity, but the company ended up doing re-brand from a marketing agency halfway through. This caused a quick shift, and the team had to work against the deadline to apply the new branding to the UI.

Takeaways
My main takeaway was how to work with a larger team to create one successful end product.
I learned to collaborate with the other developers, designers, and project managers, while being mindful of their time and my time. Working with a team allows for lots of feedback that makes the work much better!
